Dolls' house lighting looks (and works) just like lighting in your own home. You can chose from wall lights, five-armed chandeliers, modern up-lighters and table lamps, all sized to work in your dolls' house. Dolls' house lighting even allows you to create that warming, cosy glow in a fireplace with flickering effects and red bulbs.
There are two popular systems for dolls' house lighting, one which uses a copper tape circuit, and one which uses a socket strip and plug system. Which one you choose to light your dolls' house will depend on how you intend your dolls' house look, how much flexibility you want in your dolls' house and what finish you are after with your dolls' house lighting. If you purchase a QuickStyle dolls' house then your house will be pre-grooved for you to lay wiring and to enable you to use the socket and plug option of lighting your dolls' house. You can of course still use the copper wire method if you prefer or use the socket and plug method on a kit but you will need to groove the floors of your dolls' house.
